 Situated on the Aspen Mountain side is the world famous Little Nell Hotel and Resort. For years this famous spot has been made popular by the likes of Donald Trump, movie stars and captains of industry. The location couldn't be better for the skier or the shopper. The lobby is comparably unimpressive for a hotel of this notoriety. The former Ritz Carlton, now the St. Regis up the street has much more grand stately public areas. The restaurant Montagna, is one of the few real five star dining establishments in Aspen and that's because of the combination of the Chef Ryan Hardy and Master Sommelier Richard Betts.
 Overlooking the courtyard and facing Aspen Mountain, Montagna is a well-known hot spot for locals. Offering Rocky Mountain Artisan and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, the atmosphere is casual yet elegant.  Famous during winter months for its legendary apres-ski scene, the Bar at The Little Nell offers a fresh seafood bar and fondue during apres-ski, and has a clubby warm atmosphere that is pleasant for an evening drink all year long.
 Premium Mountain Side rooms average 660 square feet and include an expanded seating area and feature a down-filled loveseat sofa, chairs and coffee table. The majority of the Premium rooms are located on the top floor of the hotel, have vaulted ceilings, balconies and face Aspen Mountain.
Each room has its own gas log fireplace, Belgian wool carpeting, down filled sofas or lounge chairs, three telephones with two-line capability, high speed internet access, a built in bar/refrigerator, TV, VCR, DVD and privacy TV headsets. The beds are oversized and feature down comforters and pillows. Closets are large with separate dressing and storage areas. All rooms have humidifiers, iron/ironing board and in-room safes. Most rooms have balconies.
The spacious marble bathrooms are equipped with telephone, hair dryer, garment steamer, magnifying/shaving mirror, a large soaking tub, separate shower, water closet, and two sink/vanity areas.
 The Pfeifer Suite is 2,000 square feet and is the only suite that is a self-contained two bedroom, two and a half bathroom suite. The Pfeifer boasts a large living and entertaining area, with full wet bar and dining room. Each room has its own fireplace and there are two large decks on either side, both facing Aspen Mountain. The master bedroom has a king bed and the adjoining bedroom has two queen beds.
The suite has three telephones with two-line capability, a built in bar/refrigerator, TV, VCD, DVD and privacy TV headsets, full stereo systems, personal facsimile machine, humidifer, iron/ironing board and in-room safe. The beds are oversized and feature down comforters and pillows.
