 Boyer les Crayères is an elegant turn of the XXth century residence set in English-style parkland. Blending tradition, comfort and refinement, the Boyers have created a luxurious gourmet retreat, where guests can relax in sumptuous rooms and savour superb cuisine.  Any chef who has been awarded three Michelin Stars is considered a culinary virtuoso - a Pavarotti of the appetiser, a Bernstein of the main course and a Menuhin of the dessert. Gerard Boyer Les Crayeres has not only risen to this standard, he has surpassed it. With his charming wife Elyane, he has set out not simply to create the perfect restaurant but to combine it with the ultimate in accommodation. The end result commands an atmosphere that makes their guests feel as family friends spending time in an elegant home of French nobility.
 Among all the wonderful things this chateau has to offer is the comfort of its rooms. And you can imagine the service of a place with only 20 rooms and 88 employees ready to serve you! Lining the borders of the Boyer Les Crayeres are tall and gracious chestnut, fir and maple trees encircling beautifully manicured gardens. The building is a splendid, cream-colored classic chateau design with a slate-clad Mansard roof supporting statues and chimneys which sit atop the two stately 'wings' of the building. Between them, a round, columned portico belies a hint of the style and elegance that awaits you inside.
 I have had the opportunity to stay at Les Crayeres several times. Each visit was a lifetime experience. My wife and I spent some time chatting with Gerard and Elyane Boyer on our last visit. Unfortunately they have retired, however the legacy continues at this wonderful, most Romantic spot. Chateau Les Crayeres still ranks as our number one all time retreat. If you desire elegance, pampering, the finest accommodations, luxury at it’s best and the finest food, this is the place for you.
