Antonio’s has several Restaurants in the Orlando Area; including Maitland near Winter Park and Sand Lake near Disney. Our most recent visit was at the Maitland Restaurant, La Fiamma Ristorante on the second floor above the Cafe and Deli. This restaurant has been in operation for 20 years with many diners returning every week for most of those years. There is good reason for their loyalty: great Italian food, preparation, excellent décor, and warm friendly service. The dining room is truly fine dining in a richly appointed room of booths and tables. Here is a pleasant news item; the tab won’t break the bank. Our dinner for two with a fine bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva and including a 20% tip was $177.00. My dinner was Zuppa di Pesce all'Antonio, an assortment of fresh shrimp, scallops, fish, mussels, clams and calamari in a seafood broth served with crostini. The seafood was done perfect to my satisfaction (not over done). I also has the Zuppa di Pesce served over a bed of angel hair pasta. The pasta was al dente as ordered. “The flavors and aroma were breathtaking” and I should know, as I have tasted this dish at hundreds of Italian restaurants worldwide. I could not have prepared it as well myself. The MrFiveStar team strongly recommends this Restaurant as a solid FiveStar for Italian dining.
Here is more great news for you Italian food lovers: Antonio’s has a great Café and Deli located on the first floor of the building where the restaurant is located. This Deli is the best Italian Deli in the greater O rlando area and worth a special visit. The Deli also serves lunch and dinner for the casual diner. The menu is somewhat the same as upstairs in the fine dining restaurant but priced about 30% less. The food quality is equally as good. The Deli and Café is a destination venue as well. Eat in, take out or catering to go! Lake view dining available for the casual and pleasant meal!
Their diverse menu features: Black Angus steak, seafood, chicken, pastas, and specials of the day are always a treat! Pizzas and calzones from their wood-burning oven, rotisserie chicken over the wood fire, sandwiches done in true Italian style (choose your favorite fresh bread). Compliment your meal with a glass or bottle of wine, a specialty beer or other beverage!
