If you are traveling and have “only” time for one "great meal", here is where MrFiveStar will be dining. These properties are truly excellent 5 Star operations, great service, excellent food and generally wonderful decor. I have visited most of these hotels and restaurants numerous times recently. New York City: Le-Bernardin, Jean Georges, Per Se, Babbo, Petrossian for lunch. In New York City I say at the St. Regis, or Trump International, Chicago: Tru, Alinea and Everest, Charlie Trotters, L20, Next (when it opens). In Chicago I stay at the Peninsula or the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans: Restaurant August and Luke. In New Orleans I stay at the Windsor Court, or the JW Marriott, Philadelphia: Le Bec-Fin. Las Vegas: Joel Robuchon, Restaurant Guy Savoy. Le Cirque, Mix, Fleur de Lys, In Las Vegas I stay at the Bellagio or The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, Washington DC: I will drive to the Inn at Little Washington, it's only 50 miles and L'Auberge Chez Francois, Great Falls VA San Francisco: I will drive to The French Laundry and locally, Fluer de lys. Vail Colorado: Splendido, Swiss Chalet, Restaurant Kelly Liken, Sweet Basil, Ludwigs, I stay in Vail at the Sonnenalp, In Beaver Creek at the Park Hyatt and in Bachelor Gulch at the Ritz-Carlton. Aspen Colorado: Montagna.
