 Here is a great find! You have heard about Dog sledding where you ride they drive. Several years ago I found a place near Leadville, Colorado (24 miles from Vail) where I was able to actually drive the Dog Sled myself. Since then I have taken many of my friends and family members here for the same experience. It sounds a little scary at first, but once you get the hang of it you will never want to be driven again. These folks are very professional and have great dogs. Here I am on the left driving the dog-sled with my daughter and grand daughter in 2005.
By the way they also offer one of the largest areas for Snowmobiling anywhere, over 40 miles of terrain with great equipment.
